18 October 2012: SIdE Officer Election Results
The Annual election took place this month, from Monday 1st to Monday 15th.
The election outcomes are the following:
Number of regular SIdE Members: 53
Members who voted: 46
For Vice-President position the candidates proposed by the Nominating Committee received respectively
Giampiero M. Gallo 26 votes
Carlo A. Favero 19 votes
For the two Steering Committee positions the four candidates proposed by the Nominating Committee received respectively
Erich Battistin 28 votes
Monica Billio 26 votes
Stefano Siviero 20 votes
Giovanni Urga 16 votes
Congratulations to the new elected Officers of the Association.
Giampiero will act as Vice-President in 2013 and 2015, and as President in 2014.
Erich and Monica will be Members of the Steering Committe for three years, starting from 2013.
A very special thank is due to Carlo, Stefano and Giovanni.
Their acceptance of the nomination and their participation as candidates has been very much appreciated.
SIdE warmly hopes to (and I am sure it will) receive their important help and contribution also in the future.

2013 SIdE President
Franco Peracchi has been elected to serve as 2013 SIdE President. He will become Vice President from January 1 2012, President in 2013 and Vice President in 2014.
SIdE Council
Giuseppe Cavaliere and Gabriele Fiorentini have been elected to serve on SIdE Council from January 1 2012 to December 31 2014
1 July 2011: SIdE Vice Presidency and SIdE candidates for the Council
The 2011 SIdE Nominating Commitee has selected the following candidates for the position of 2012 SIdE Vice President. The Vice President will serve for a year before becoming President in 2013, and then Vice President for an additional year:

The 2011 SIdE Nominating Committee has selected the following candidates for the Council. Members of the Society can vote for two of the six candidates. Elected candidates will stay in office for three years:
