SIdE Courses and Summer Schools are open to scholars and practitioners at all career stages, with a particular focus on PhD students and early-career researchers.
Please note that SIdE membership is required to attend the Summer Schools and Postgraduate Courses.

Courses in Bertinoro:
The fee includes accommodation (from Sunday evening):
- double room for students and university staff
- single room for others
- breakfast and lunch
Participants who do not require accommodation may request a €100 reduction by contacting: admin@side-iea.it
Courses in Perugia:
The fee includes accommodation (from Sunday evening) in a single room, as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Multiple course enrollment:
Participants enrolling in more than one course (up to a maximum of three) are entitled to:
- €100 discount per in-person course
- €50 discount per online course
Renounce and refund policy
To withdraw and request a refund, participants must send an email to: admin@side-iea.it
Refund requests are accepted up to 7 days before the start of the course, and must include a justification.
Administrative fees will be deducted:
- €150 for in-person courses
- €100 for online courses
After this deadline (less than 7 days before the course), refund requests must include supporting documentation and will be evaluated by the SIdE President.
Bank of Italy grants for female economists
To promote the participation of women in economics and finance, the Bank of Italy will fund up to ten full fee waivers side for deserving female students and young researchers attending SIdE Summer Schools or Postgraduate Courses.
A joint committee composed of SIdE and Bank of Italy members will evaluate the applications based on the submitted CVs.
Successful applicants will be notified by 28 May, 2026.
Francesca Rossi Grants
In memory of Professor Francesca Rossi, an outstanding scholar whose research and academic commitment left a lasting mark on the econometrics community, the Società Italiana di Econometria (SIdE) is pleased to announce the availability of registration fee waivers for deserving female young researchers, funded by the Department of Economics of the University of Verona and by SIdE.These grants are intended to support female PhD students and female early-career researchers who wish to attend one of the SIdE Summer Schools or Postgraduate Courses, promoting excellence and inclusiveness in advanced econometric training. Eligible candidates will be asked to express their interest during the registration process and, if appropriate, to submit or integrate their curriculum vitae. Applications will be evaluated by a SIdE-appointed committee, which will assess the submitted CVs on the basis of academic merit and research potential. Successful applicants will be notified by 28 May 2026.
