The Nov 25 in Bergamo (Italy) during the Workshop in Memory of Carlo Giannini, we will hold the election of the President-elect who will serve as a President on 2018-19.
The Search Committee identified Giuseppe Cavaliere as a distinguished scholar who fits well in the desired profile of the SIDE President as a person dedicated to the advancement of econometric research and teaching in Italy.
We are opening an informal web-based voting procedure to confirm Giuseppe's nomination with the possibility of signaling possible alternative names. The results of such "primaries" will be relayed at the beginning of the SIdE General Meeting in Bergamo before the physical votes can actually be cast during that Meeting.
