The Italian Econometric Association (SIdE-IEA) is pleased to announce the
5th Italian Workshop of Econometrics and Empirical Economics:
“Panel Data Econometrics”

The workshop focuses on methodological advances and innovative applications of state-of-the-art econometric methods for analyzing climate and energy topics; it aims at bringing together econometricians, economists and statisticians to communicate and discuss the current developments in all fields of econometrics.
The conference organizers welcome submissions of both empirical and theoretical research.

By plane:
The airport closest to the conference venue is Ancona Falconara . Taxis and shuttles are available just outside the airport. The Raffaello Aerobus is a shuttle bus service from/to Ancona (Piazza Cavour, Railway Station and Torrette) and the Falconara M.ma Station available from 7 am to 10:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased directly on board the bus at a cost of €3.30 to Falconara and €5.50 to Ancona. All Aerobus information and timetables are available on this page.
Alternatively, you can use Pescara airport or Bologna airport. From both Bologna and Pescara the best way to reach Ancona is by train. Recommended stations Pescara Centrale and Bologna Centrale; Info at: http://www.trenitalia.com/
By train
Train trip options from any Italian city to Ancona central station are available at: http://www.trenitalia.com/. From the station to the conference venue: use the bus stop with the sign "Centro" located in front of the train station. Any line that passes through this stop reaches the city center. Then get off at the Piazza Roma or Piazza Cavour stop and then continue on foot up the hill to the left of the direction you are coming from until you reach the Faculty in about 5-10 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the tobacconist in front of the station or, for an additional fee, on board the bus.
By car:
Ancona is connected to the motorway A14 "Bologna-Taranto" (E45) with two exits: Ancona Nord is the closest exit to the airport and station, and Ancona Sud connects the city with the industrial area and the Conero Riviera.
To reach Ancona by car from Rome, follow motorway A24 "Roma-L'Aquila-Teramo" motorway, direction Teramo, and then the highway "Teramo mare" until Giulianova. Continue onto A14, direction Bologna.
To reach Ancona by car from Milano, follow the motorway A1 "Milano Napoli" utill Bologna and continue onto A14 motorway, direction Taranto.
