SIdE is pleased to announce the twelfth edition of the Italian Congress of Econometrics and Empirical Economics (ICEEE) which will take place on June 3–5, 2027, at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome.
Submissions are invited for theoretical and applied papers in all areas of econometrics and empirical economics.

Paper Submission
Papers may be submitted from August 1, 2026, through EasyChair using the following link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iceee2027
Each submitter may submit only one paper.
- The deadline for submissions is December 13, 2026 (midnight, CET).
- The decision notification date is February 1, 2027.
Prizes
- One prize of EUR 2,500 for the best conference paper in Macroeconometrics or Financial Econometrics authored by early-career researchers (Carlo Giannini Prize), jointly offered by SIdE and the Bank of Italy.
- One prize of EUR 2,500 for the best conference paper in Theoretical or Applied Microeconometrics authored by early-career researchers, offered by SIdE and the Bank of Italy.
To be eligible for either prize, all authors of the submitted paper must be within four years of receiving their PhD at the submission deadline.
Authors wishing to be considered for either prize are requested to indicate their interest and submit their CVs to info@side-iea.it by March 28, 2027.
The prize winners will be announced during the Conference.

Travel Information
There are several ways to travel to Rome: by plane, by train and by car.
By Plane:
Roma Fiunicino International Airport is approximately 30 km from the city centre. It offers daily connections to other Italian cities as well as to major destinations throughout Europe and beyond..
Connections from/to the airport:
By train. Frequent trains operate from the railway station located inside the airport, close to the arrival and departure terminals. The main options are:
- The Leonardo Express, a non-stop service connecting the airport with Roma Termini, departs every 15 minutes and has a journey time of approximately 30 minutes.
- The FL1 regional line trains from/to other Rome stations, with departures every 15 minutes on working days and every 30 minutes on weekends and holidays

By bus.
Leonardo da Vinci airport is served by different coach operators providing connections to Rome. Information on timetables, routes and ticket prices can be found on the websites of the various companies.
Cotral: Stop: Terminal 1, Arrivals area.
Destinations: Rome's main underground stations (Termini, Tiburtina, Cornelia, Magliana, Ostia) and to Fiumicino.
Where to buy tickets: at authorised sales outlets (newsagents, tobacconist’s, etc.) or on board the bus, subject to an additional charge.

By Bus:
Long-distance buses arrive at the Rome Tiburtina bus station. Schedules and the names of the various bus companies are available on the bus station website.
From Rome Tiburtina station, the city center is easily reached via the Metro B line. Check the ATAC website for routes and schedules https://www.atac.roma.it/en/home.
